Last night the Interstuhl London showroom opened its doors once again, after four months of extensive refurbishment. Boasting 110 litres of paint and 580 metres of wood flooring as part of the overhaul, the space also features a 'wall of chairs' as a backdrop to the entire showroom.
The long-established German furniture brand is one of the leading European producers of seating and table products for workplace environments. With a collection of classic and contemporary pieces, the range displays the company's craft-based traditional heritage and it technical know-how. Within the newly re-engineered space, designed by ORMS architects, is a series of rooms that were designed to showcase the products at their best, such as an administrative zone, executive office and conference room, all using minimal clean lines and intelligent lighting. The collection features Interstuhl's signature aesthetics of brushed aluminium, rich timbers and subtle fabrics.
