Fresh Talent
June 3, 2010

By Anna Lewis idfx
When taking your first steps on the art and design ladder, university work
showcases can often be the leg up that graduates need. With the tenth Free
Range Show at Truman Brewery commencing tomorrow and the third and final chapter of idfx's Young Designers series featuring in the current issue of
the magazine, now seems like the perfect time to get blogging about
something that is so poignant to so many.
Shows such as Free Range, which features work from over one hundred
university courses, provide the best platforms for graduate art and design
students to showcase their work to both public and industry, with
manufacturers and design studios regularly popping along to talent spot.
With the end of term just around the corner, now is the time to head out and
take a look at some of these fantastic art and design shows:
Free Range Art and Design Show 4 June - 26 July
Nottingham Trent University Undergraduate Show 3 - 9 June
Kingston University Undergraduate Degree Show 5 - 9 June
Buckinghamshire New University End Of Year Show 12 - 17 June
London Metropolitan, The Cass Show 16 - 20 June
