London was Katie Bonham's inspiration for her newest collection of ceramics. Created using clay dug from the Thames and London bricks, the collection is literally built on London's history with elements of the present city.
There will be a pop up exhibition of the London ceramics at 99 (99 Amhurst Road, E8 2AN) on 5 and 6 June from 12-6pm. Alongside Bonham's work will be a screening of a film retracing Patrick Keller's 1994 film London by James Briddle and tales of ye olde London read by James Stennett.
And don't forget about the food. Chefs will butcher half a pig on Saturday. 99 will provide coffee and a cooked breakfast or lunch. Lardy Da will provide the homemade pies, pickles and bread for hungry art lovers.
