Slice and dice directly on your countertop with Çimstone

I admit it: I am lazy when it comes to cooking. Sure, I enjoy creating a meal, but all of the utensils that go into preparing food (and then must be washed) often discourage me before I've begun. So I was thrilled when I came across Turkish company Çimstone at the Surface Design Show in Islington last week. They've removed the need for a cutting board!
Çimstone's innovative countertops are made of 93% quartz and 7% polyester resin binding, making them highly scratch resistant. A metal knife won't cause damage to Çimstone surfaces, so feel free to slice tomatoes for your salad or cut meat directly on the countertop. Also, Çimstone countertops are stain resistant and won't be damaged by common acidic items like wine, olive oil, vinegar, and lemon. They are easily cleaned and don't require extra polishing.
Unlike granite or marble, Çimstone's countertops are not limited to natural colours and can be coloured with pigments and decorated with mirror, glass, seashell, brass rasping or basalt for interesting texture and visuals.
Çimstone countertops range in size from 30 x 30 cm to 305 x 140 cm.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
Great information! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Thanks!
