Hong Kong's hotel design industry
February 16, 2010

Architect Steve Leung has been credited as one of the leading trendsetters in Asian contemporary interior design and has been showered with awards and accolades. His innovative projects in Hong Kong include the newly opened Hyatt Regency, Sha Tin and the Crowne Plaza, on Causeway.
His work at the Hyatt Regency saw Leung adopt an intellectual contemporary design which utilizes an array of raw materials and warm earthy colour tones. The use of natural elements runs throughout the hotel including ash wood, granite and marble alongside leaf patterned artifacts that enhance the tranquil environment.
Accommodating guests' changing moods and desires, the sky garden on the 27th floor is the ideal location to sit back, relax, and appreciate the skyline and the soothing sounds of the Crowne Plaza's water features. Despite being in the middle of Hong Kong's bustling city, guests can unwind and experience a resort-like atmosphere.
Having conquered Hong Kong's design scene with high end brands, Steve Leung Designers Limited is now making an impact on the world stage. Other notable regional projects recently completed by Steve Leung Designers Ltd include: the impressive penthouse apartment in One LaSalle, Hong Kong; the luxurious show flat in 39 Conduit Road and the elegant retail outlet Emphasis Jewellery at One Pacific Place, Hong Kong.
