Danish luxury brassware manufacturer VOLA opened its new London flagship showroom on 2 April 2009.

The huge 4,267 sq ft showroom showcases the entire Vola range including the seminal HV1 design by Arne Jacobsen, and will act as a central resource for architects, interior designers and other professional specifiers in need of inspiration, help, and advice.

The space was designed by Danish architects Arkitekterne. Products are displayed as sculptural elements in the showroom adding to the idea of comfort and spa-like bathrooms. The Showroom operates on two levels, a showroom of all VOLA’s new products are on the ground floor and a meeting room and extra showroom facilities are on the lower ground. VOLA will run regular product training sessions, as well as other events aimed at architects, interior designers, plumbers, property developers and other professional specifiers.

Arkitekterne has also contributed to the new VOLA product collection 09 with the FS3 (a freestanding shower) and the T39 (a modular towel warmer).

The architecture firm is also responsible for the impressive VOLA Academy in Arhus, Denmark, as well as the other VOLA showrooms in Amsterdam, Vienna, and Copenhagen.
