Seefelder - moon.table

The idea of the dark and light side of the moon was the inspiration behind Seefelder's moon.table.

Playing with the idea of a moon changing from new to full and back again, the table mimics this cycle, translating it graphically into a functional set of two side tables. They can be arranged separately and overlapping.

The table bases are chromed or lacquered steel tubing, and the table tops are made from scratch resistant powder coated MDF- in white and black, matt and high gloss.

The integrated bowl in each table top is connotative of the moon’s crater covered surface.

The table is a result of co-operation between Seefelder and Munich-based designer Matthias Demacker.
