UK carpet tile designer Burmatex has unveiled its stunning new design hub in Ossett, West Yorkshire. The hub features a design studio, boardroom and showrooms for both contract and residential brands, creating a suitably creative environment for the Burmatex creative team.
The hub is housed in former squash courts of the Airea plc head office. By installing a mezzanine floor, 320m² of useable space was created. This ‘hub’ is now home to Burmatex’s design and marketing team, comprising a design studio and commercial showroom centring on new product development, a state of the art meeting room boasting cutting-edge media technology, and a beautiful residential showroom.

One of the UK’s leading innovators in carpet tile design, Burmatex manufactures an extensive product range of contract carpets and carpet tiles designed for a breadth of environments. Its product portfolio includes structure and fibre bonded and tufted carpet in sheet and tile, specialist barrier and entrance matting products and luxury vinyl tiles.

Fitting well with their belief that the best design processes are centred around not only the creation of an impactful space, but the way in which spaces are used, the hub provides a fantastic place to meet clients.
Burmatex has been instrumental in proving that, today, floors can add a focal point to a room or harmonize seamlessly with an existing interior scheme.

The new meeting room uses Axis, a dense twist carpet tile that brings a contemporary slant to a classic style in lime, to complement a statement walnut boardroom table.
