Zig Zag by Kettal

This is ZigZag, a new collection of outdoor furniture and accessories designed by Emiliana Design Studio for Spanish manufacturer Kettal.

The ZigZag collection includes planters, pouffes and tables made of a polyester painted aluminium structure with a braided exterior cord. There are three sizes of planters, each with a plant pot holder and a drainage hole. In addition, the collection includes ZigZag Fire, an aluminium and ceramic coffee table that can be used as a barbecue or a heater.

Vibrant refurb by Featherstone Young

These are some shots of the Featherstone Young (formerly Featherstone Associates) designed refurb and office fit out for leading communications agency Wieden + Kennedy (W+K London). The new office is situated in The Old Truman Brewery in London's Brick Lane area and looks like a fun place to work!

Glenn Howells Architects appointed on National Memorial Arboretum

Glenn Howells Architects has been appointed as the lead team to remodel The National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) in Alrewas in Staffordshire. The commission will transform the 150 acre site into a world-class Centre for Remembrance. The £8m redevelopment will include an Armed Forces Pavilion, 'Heroes Square', Exhibition Space and Education Centre. In addition, the retail, catering and office facilities will be upgraded. Glenn Howells Architects will redesign the surrounding landscape to unite the existing and new buildings.

Christmas Lights at London's Burlington Arcade

How lovely do the lights at Burlington Arcade look? I know it's not quite Christmas yet, but there's nothing like some twinkly lights to give a dark autumn evening some much needed (festive) cheer!

The custom designed Philips Dynalite LED seasonal lighting display was turned on by Camilla Parker-Bowles on 19th November. Further technical assistance to get them just right came from electrics experts Morban.

AB Concept win gold for Hotel Jen, Singapore

Lobby/Entrance for Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Tainan

AB Concept won the prestigious US-based Gold Key Award 2009 for Excellence in Hospitality Design in two of its eight categories - best Casual Dining venue for Hotel Jen's restaurant 'Jen Café' in Hong Kong and best Lobby/Entrance for Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel in Tainan, Taiwan. The 9th November 2009 ceremony marked the award's 29th year of celebrating the best in hotel interior design.

Spider by Roche Bobois

Spider is the new furniture line from French furnishings company Roche Bobois. The collection, with minimalist and essential lines, springs from the creativity of designer Daniel Rode, and comprises of cupboard, a dining table and a coffee table.
